Strongsville Green Day
April 24th, 2020: Promoting Environmental Awareness and Education
Meet and learn from local organizations and businesses focused on protecting our planet
The THIRD ANNUAL Strongsville Green Day event will introduce guests to leaders in environmental awareness and education in our community.
Come learn about the natural world around us with naturalists and nature enthusiasts alike, get hands-on by taking a guided nature hike in Strongsville's Backyard Preserve, even create a birdfeeder from upcycled materials to attract songbirds to your yard.
Discover the many small changes that you can make in your everyday life that can have a huge impact on the environment, from recycling to pet care to transportation to mealtime and more. Support and be inspired by eco-conscious businesses, letting your consumer choices make a statement. Participate in a workshop, create a nature craft, or compete in our upcycled art competition. Pledge to do "One Small Thing" for the planet and be entered to win great prizes from our sponsors.
This FREE, family friendly event is organized by the Strongsville Youth Commission and the Strongsville Women's League. Check our Facebook event page for the latest updates and information!
